Post limited company registration services and VAT administration: at Coddan we are not only experts in registering new private companies, we also provide a range of ongoing services to our customers. As well as helping you fulfil your legal obligations (for example, your tax and accounting responsibilities), we also work with you to help you minimise your tax liability and maximise your profits.

We can either provide help as and when it is needed, or, if you prefer, you can choose one of our fantastic accounting packages.

Our business start up package includes a limited company registration, a corporate bank account, a domain name, the provision of an HMRC tax expert, monthly bookkeeping services, PAYE scheme registration and the filing of your annual return and accounts. Our 'all-inclusive package' includes all of the above but also includes VAT administration.

As well as these mandatory accounting services, we can also provide the advice and expertise to help you make your business successful. At Coddan, we work with you to gain a full understanding of your business. Once we understand how you work, we can work with you to move the business forward, while taking care of all the bookkeeping and admin for you.

VAT administration: if your business supplies VAT taxable services or goods, and you turnover more than £85,000 in a 12 month period, you will need to register to pay VAT to HMRC. You will then need to make quarterly payments to HMRC. Failure to make timely and accurate payments can result in hefty fines.

Because payments are made every three months, they can soon become substantial amounts of money, and this can wreak havoc with a company's cash flow. It is vital that you plan for VAT payments.
