Steps for the Formation of an Overseas Company in the UK

Proceeding for setting-up a UK-based company for international clients: as a resident of a country outside of the United Kingdom, it is vital to seek the expertise of a qualified local limited company set-up specialist when deciding to register a UK-based business presence. Fortunately, at Coddan Formations Agency we have a team of dedicated specialists that collectively have an unrivalled level of experience in this field, and they are able to provide expert business registration insights at every stage of the process.

More significantly, we can then take the hassle out of the private company registration process, and all you will need to do is provide us with the relevant information. We deal directly with the appropriate UK institutions, such as Companies House and the major banks, and this means that we can help you to overcome any language barriers that may be occurring.

Any UK-based limited company will need to have at least one named director, and this makes it vital for you to supply us with both photographic ID and a proof of address for this individual. A copy of a passport or a driving licence will usually cover the "name" element of this process, and an official letter or a bank statement will satisfy the "address" requirements. In the event that a nominee director will appear on Companies House records, we will still need to maintain similar records for the true owner of a business - this is to protect our own position if an investigation were to take place.

It is also a legal requirement for a UK-based limited company to have a bank account, and we are able to handle the process for setting one up with one of the major banking institutions. Our team can deal directly with the bank in question, and we can ensure that all documents are submitted in a timely manner to improve your chances of being accepted as a corporate customer.

To see how Coddan Formations Agency can assist you as an overseas resident, both before, during and after a company set-up, our team of experts can be contacted on (44) 207 935 5171 or via e-mail. To get an idea of our entire range of services, please take a look at our website.
