For no additional fee, we can provide basic information and advice about how to form your company, general company structures, and details about what you can expect and receive from our services. However, instance of correspondence beyond this purview (either through e-mail, post, or telephone) is charged as one unit (that is 10% or 1/10th) of rate. Long letters or telephone calls made or received are timed, and charged, in units of six minutes.

 Coddan's business advisors will determine the best option for you; ask questions toand give preliminary advice; explain how the law applies to you; and recommend steps you can take to resolve your situation. We charge for every hour-spent onsite, with the exception of one hour per day for lunch. Note that rush rates may apply to overtime. We charge for meetings, as well as an additional hour to cover transportation time and parking. We DO NOT charge for routine materials and services, but we may charge for long-distance calls and other expenses. We forewarn clients of these additional costs. We charge on an hourly basis on top of which we add VAT. An hour is divided up into "units" of 6 minutes. Each hour therefore has ten units.

Coddan does offer a rushed service for additional fees and we inform clients when rush rates apply. Work conducted outside regular business hours will be charged as overtime. If a job exceeds 1 (one) hour, Coddan must have both a signed contract and 100 percent down payment. We deliver interim bills for work done (which are to be treated as final bills as an interim bill, will be the only and final bill for charges and expenses for that period) on a monthly basis, and we cannot undertake any further work 14 days after that bill is rendered, until such time as that bill has been paid. We require payment of your bill within seven days of issue and will charge interest at 10% per month for late charges, if it is not paid within a fourteen day period. We are obliged to inform you that this rate is higher than that to which we would otherwise be entitled by law.
Your Privacy:
As a firm, we take privacy and confidentiality extremely seriously. You can be certain that all information you provide will be kept confidential. If you choose our services, your information will be securely held in our client database. If you contact us for any reason, your details may be kept for a period of time on our database so that we may be able to identify you if you wish to contact our firm again. We do not disclose any of your personal details to third parties. Apart from information you provide in emails and in our feedback form, this website does not capture or store any personal information. As a result of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 and Money Laundering Regulations 2003 we must obtain satisfactory evidence of identity from all new clients before we are able to act OR DO ANY WORK ON YOUR CASE. Please note that if any fee-earner who is involved with your case has to address issues which have arisen under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002, and that time will be charged in the same manner as any other work undertaken in relation to your case.
