The International Readiness™ package is designed for customers whose proposed LLP formation involves non-UK individuals, overseas corporate participants or an ownership chain that needs to be assessed before a formation instruction can be accepted.
The package provides the following assessment work:
1. Review of the proposed participant and ownership information;
2. Organisation of the supplied identity, address, purpose, source and control information;
3. Identification of missing or incomplete supporting evidence;
4. Review of any CDD, EDD or sanctions-related questions arising from the information supplied;
5. Assessment of whether the proposed formation can proceed, requires stated conditions or needs a different professional route;
6. Written readiness outcome identifying the next acceptable formation step.
Coddan will organise and assess the information supplied about the proposed participants, ownership and control structure so that the formation position can be considered against the information and evidence available.
The assessment is intended to identify practical evidence gaps and outstanding questions before a formation instruction is accepted. You remain responsible for providing complete ownership and control information, usable evidence and responses to any questions raised during the assessment.
The professional outcome is a written readiness outcome recording whether the proposed formation can proceed, requires conditions or requires a different professional route. The assessment is not a tax, foreign-law or banking opinion.
Our business consultants are available for an initial consultation by email or phone if you require clarification about the assessment, the information required or the scope of the package. For further information, please contact us at +44 (0) 207 935 5171 or 0330 808 0089.
Coddan will prepare the assessment once the required participant, ownership, identity, address, purpose, source and documentary information has been supplied and is usable for review.
The professional fee for the assessment is £125 + VAT. No Companies House formation fee is charged at this assessment stage, and the assessment is a one-off service.
Where the case is accepted and the stated conditions are met, the £125 professional fee may be credited against an accepted formation instruction placed within 30 days.
The assessment depends on complete disclosure of the proposed ownership and control chain and usable supporting evidence for the relevant participants and structure.
Translation, certification, legalisation, identity verification, professional advice and third-party checks are separate unless expressly quoted. Any regulatory, foreign-law, tax or banking conclusions required for the proposed structure remain outside this assessment.
The readiness outcome identifies the next acceptable formation step, but Coddan decides whether the instruction fits its formation scope. Regulators, verification providers and other third parties retain responsibility for their own decisions.
