“LLP First-Year Essential™” First-Year Administration Package Overview

The “LLP First-Year Essential™” package is designed for participants who want their new LLP supported beyond formation and through its first annual confirmation point. It combines the accepted formation, opening records and suitable standard governance work with a defined first-year administration route ending with preparation and filing of the first confirmation statement.

The package provides the following formation, governance and first-year administration work:
1. Completion of the accepted Governance Setup work;
2. Establishment of the LLP’s first-year filing calendar;
3. Organisation of the initial LLP administration within the agreed scope;
4. Preparation of the first confirmation statement within the agreed scope;
5. Filing of the first confirmation statement with Companies House;
6. Support through the LLP’s first annual confirmation point.

About the LLP first-year administration procedure

We will complete the accepted Governance Setup work and establish the first-year filing calendar for your LLP, providing a defined route from the initial formation and governance arrangements towards the first confirmation statement.

The first-year administration work is structured around the information held for the LLP and the filing timetable established for the first year. Coddan will prepare the first confirmation statement within the agreed scope and submit it to Companies House following your approval.

You must keep the LLP information current, notify Coddan of relevant changes and approve the confirmation statement before filing. The service is designed to conclude at the first confirmation statement rather than operate as an automatic or indefinite annual renewal.

When your LLP first-year administration will be completed

Coddan will establish the first-year filing calendar and carry out the agreed administration work following completion of the accepted formation and Governance Setup stages.

The service continues through preparation and filing of the first confirmation statement within the agreed scope. The separate Companies House incorporation fee remains applicable to the formation stage, and the £50 digital confirmation-statement fee is separate when due.

Companies House retains the decision whether each filing is accepted. Companies House processing, requests for further information or other external actions may affect the timing of registration or filing completion.

About the information required for your LLP first-year administration

The first-year administration service depends on the LLP information remaining current throughout the service period. You must notify Coddan of relevant changes and provide or approve the information required for the first confirmation statement.

The formation price assumes two straightforward UK individual members. The approved £35 + VAT supplement for each additional accepted UK individual member and £125 + VAT supplement for each accepted UK body-corporate member apply at formation.

The service ends with the first confirmation statement. Annual accounts, tax filings, bookkeeping and complex changes remain separate services, and any later renewal requires affirmative acceptance rather than automatic or indefinite continuation.
