The package provides the following assessment work:

1. Review of the supplied LLP membership, control, agreement and corporate information.
2. Assessment of the relevant member, designated-member, corporate-member and PSC capacities.
3. Distinction between membership, designated status, corporate participation, authority and PSC status.
4. Identification of relevant documentary evidence, unresolved role or control questions and information gaps.
5. Assessment of the appropriate formation, filing, identity-verification or professional follow-up route.
6. Preparation of a documented role-and-control recommendation identifying the appropriate next route.

Coddan will review the supplied membership, control, agreement and corporate evidence and assess how the relevant individuals and entities should be distinguished by capacity within the proposed or existing LLP.

The assessment is intended to clarify the relationship between membership, designated-member status, corporate participation, authority and PSC status before separate formation, filing or professional work is undertaken. You remain responsible for providing the complete factual and documentary position.

The professional outcome is a documented role-and-control route without conflating membership, designated status, corporate participation and PSC status. When your LLP roles and control assessment will be completed

Coddan will prepare the assessment once the required membership, control, agreement, corporate and supporting information has been supplied and is usable for review.

The professional fee for the assessment is £195 + VAT. There is no Companies House fee for the assessment itself, and the service is a one-off commissioned assessment with no automatic renewal.

The assessment recommends an appropriate route, but actual event filings, identity verification, agreement amendments and other implementation work are separate services. Companies House, advisers and verification providers retain responsibility for their own decisions.

About the information required for your LLP roles and control assessment

The assessment depends on complete disclosure of the relevant membership, designated-member, corporate-member, authority and PSC position, together with usable supporting evidence for the LLP and its participants.
