The “Active Accounts™” package is a professional accounts preparation and filing service for a trading LLP whose sales, costs, assets, liabilities, member balances and accounting records require a fully scoped active-accounts engagement.
The package provides the following professional work:
1. Initial review of the LLP’s trading activity, accounting records and reporting requirements.
2. Review of the supplied records relating to sales, costs, assets, liabilities and member balances.
3. Allocation of a competent preparer for the accepted active-accounts engagement.
4. Preparation of a written quotation confirming the professional fee and agreed scope before accounts preparation begins.
5. Preparation of active LLP accounts from the accepted accounting records for one defined accounting period.
6. Resolution of accounting queries within the agreed scope, coordination of designated-member approval and signing, and coordination of the Companies House filing.
Coddan will organise an initial review of the LLP’s trading activity, accounting records and reporting requirements to establish the appropriate scope of work. The review considers the supplied information relating to sales, costs, assets, liabilities and member balances.
A competent preparer will be allocated to the accepted engagement, and Coddan will provide a written quotation confirming the professional fee and agreed scope before accounts preparation begins. The members must provide complete accounting records, respond to accounting queries and supply the explanations needed to prepare the accounts.
The professional outcome is active LLP accounts prepared from the accepted records for one defined period
. The allocated preparer retains responsibility for the accounting conclusions within the accepted scope. Designated members remain responsible for approving and signing the accounts, while Companies House determines whether the filing is accepted.
Our business consultants are available for an initial consultation by email or phone if you require clarification about the service, the information required or the package scope. For further information, please contact us at +44 (0) 207 935 5171 or 0330 808 0089.
Coddan will organise the initial records review and assess the LLP’s trading activity and accounting requirements before confirming the agreed scope and professional fee in a written quotation. Accounts preparation will proceed once the scope has been accepted and the required records and explanations are available for the work.
The professional fee starts at £795 + VAT and is confirmed after the LLP’s activity and accounting records have been assessed. The engagement covers one quoted accounting period and does not renew automatically. Any subsequent period requires a new or renewed engagement.
The agreed service covers the accepted active-accounts preparation work, accounting queries within scope, coordination of member approval and signing, and coordination of the Companies House filing. Bookkeeping reconstruction, partnership tax returns, member tax, audit, valuations, payroll and overdue-period recovery are separate unless expressly included in the written quotation.
The service depends on complete accounting records and explanations covering the LLP’s trading activity for the relevant period, including sales, costs, assets, liabilities and member balances. Members must provide the required records, answer accounting queries and approve and sign the prepared accounts.
Incomplete books, bookkeeping reconstruction, partnership tax returns, member tax, audit, specialist valuations, payroll and overdue-period recovery require separate scope unless expressly included in the written quotation. The final professional fee cannot be confirmed until the LLP’s activity and records have been assessed.
Where the LLP qualifies for the applicable micro or small reporting framework and its records support a more limited engagement, consider the separate Micro/Small Accounts package. Where accounts are overdue, the separate Overdue Supplement may be relevant.
The package covers one quoted accounting period and does not guarantee acceptance of the filing. The allocated preparer is responsible for the accounting conclusions within the accepted scope, designated members approve and sign the accounts, and Companies House retains responsibility for its filing decision. Any work outside the agreed scope must be assessed and quoted separately.
