“Standard Name Change™” Order Form Description

The “Standard Name Change™” package is a one-off professional filing service for an existing LLP with a settled proposed name, appropriate member authority and no unresolved sensitive-word, consent or trade-mark issue requiring separate work.

The package provides the following services:

1. Review of the proposed LLP name and the information supplied for the standard name-change application.
2. Check of the proposed name against the applicable Companies House filing requirements within the agreed scope.
3. Preparation of the supporting member resolution for the proposed name change.
4. Preparation of the relevant Companies House name-change filing.
5. Submission of the approved application through the appropriate standard filing route.
6. Provision of the completion record after the application has been processed.

About the standard LLP name-change service

Coddan will review the proposed name and the information supplied, prepare the supporting member resolution and coordinate the standard name-change filing. The service is intended for an LLP whose proposed name and member authority are sufficiently settled for the application to proceed through the standard route.

The members remain responsible for approving the name change and supplying any required permission or supporting information. If a sensitive-word, consent or other unresolved issue prevents the application from proceeding as a standard filing, further work may be required and may be quoted separately.

The professional outcome is a standard LLP name-change application prepared and submitted through the appropriate route. Name availability does not establish trade-mark clearance or guarantee that the proposed name or filing will be accepted. Companies House retains responsibility for deciding whether the name and application are accepted.

When your LLP name-change filing will be completed

Coddan will prepare and submit the application once the proposed name, member approval and required supporting information have been supplied and are suitable for the standard filing route. Processing and the decision on acceptance remain subject to Companies House procedures.

The fixed professional fee for this service is £65 + VAT. The standard Companies House name-change fee of £20 is payable separately. This is a one-off filing service with no automatic renewal.

About the information required for your LLP name change

The service depends on you providing the settled proposed LLP name, the necessary member approval and any required permission or supporting information. Please ensure that the proposed name and the authority to make the change have been considered before placing your order.

Trade-mark advice or clearance, branding changes, domain-name changes, third-party consents, post-change contract updates and banking updates are separate services and are not included in the fixed professional fee. Any additional work arising from unresolved name issues must be agreed separately.

The £65 + VAT fee covers Coddan’s professional work for the standard name-change application only. The £20 Companies House fee is additional. Neither name availability nor submission guarantees acceptance; Companies House makes the final decision on the proposed name and filing.
