EORI Application is the defined order-form service for a limited liability partnership (LLP) that needs to request the customs identification number appropriate to its actual goods movements. The application route depends on the LLP’s circumstances, the goods movement involved and the applicable customs requirements.
Coddan reviews the information supplied about the LLP, the proposed goods movement route and the person making the customs declaration. Using the LLP’s authority, we prepare and submit the agreed application for the appropriate customs identification number within the scope of the instruction.
The package covers one agreed GB EORI application, or one XI EORI application where the LLP already holds a GB EORI number and meets the applicable XI conditions. The LLP must provide accurate information and authorise the application. A member’s country of residence does not, by itself, determine the LLP’s EORI requirement.
The one-off professional fee is £45 + VAT for the stated application. If both GB and XI applications are required, the additional application must be quoted separately. Any further application, evidence review or additional work must be quoted and agreed before it begins. Customs declarations, import or export licences, duty calculations, VAT registration applications and VAT returns are not included in this package. If the LLP also requires UK VAT and EORI applications, compare the separate VAT & EORI service.
HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) determines the outcome of UK EORI applications. For customs activity in the European Union, the LLP should check whether an EU-issued or qualifying XI number is required; this package does not provide an EU-issued EORI number. Coddan cannot guarantee that a number will be issued or that a particular goods movement will be cleared.
