Due diligence requirements

Mandatory Identity Verification is required for all UK Incorporations. This is in addition to any usual Anti-Money Laundering Regulations that we have to comply with.

Being an ACSP, Coddan is undertaking Identity Verification for Companies House, in line with their new mandatory identity verification requirements. Identity verification is required for all directors, shareholders, members of the partnership and persons with significant control.

For clients, we provide Company Formation services to, our fee for Identity Verification and submission of information to the Companies House is £30.00 per person. The fee covers our admin fee and software fee for running the checks.

• Valid proof of ID - Current valid passport bearing the photograph;
• Valid proof of current residential address – a recent utility bill (gas, electricity, water or waste collection; mobile phone, Internet or TV bills are not accepted) or a bank statement. The document must include the individual’s name and address and be dated within the last 3 months.

Depending on your nationality and country of residence, we may also request additional documents if deemed necessary.
