“Overdue Supplement™” Package Overview

The “Overdue Supplement™” package is an additional accounts recovery and filing-coordination service for an LLP whose accounts engagement includes one or more overdue accounting periods requiring additional chronology checks, records review, deadline recovery and filing coordination.

The package provides the following additional professional work:

1. Identification of the overdue accounting periods covered by the accepted accounts engagement.
2. Review of available historic accounting records and correspondence to identify missing information and outstanding inputs.
3. Assessment of the additional chronology, records-checking and deadline-recovery requirements for each overdue period.
4. Coordination of the additional accounts preparation work with the allocated accountant or competent preparer.
5. Inclusion of the supplement in a written quotation confirming the agreed recovery scope and applicable additional fee.
6. Coordination of the overdue-period filing alongside the underlying accepted accounts service, within the agreed scope.

About the Overdue Supplement

Coddan will identify the overdue accounting periods included in the accepted accounts engagement and review the available historic records and correspondence to establish the outstanding inputs and additional work required.

The service coordinates the additional preparation and recovery work with the allocated accountant or competent preparer. Coddan will include the supplement in a written quotation identifying the agreed scope and applicable additional fee for each overdue period.

The professional outcome is a defined recovery scope for each overdue accounting period alongside the underlying accounts service. The supplement supports the agreed accounts preparation and filing process but does not replace the underlying accounts engagement.

When your overdue accounts recovery work will be undertaken

Coddan will identify the overdue periods and review the available records and correspondence before confirming the additional recovery requirements. The additional work will be coordinated with the allocated accountant or competent preparer once the scope has been agreed and the necessary information is available.

The additional professional fee starts at £175 + VAT for each overdue accounting period. The applicable fee and scope will be confirmed in the written quotation. Companies House penalties and other official or professional charges are separate from Coddan’s supplement fee.

The supplement applies per overdue period and is available only alongside an accepted accounts engagement. It is a one-off additional service for the agreed period or periods and does not renew automatically. The underlying accounts preparation remains separately scoped and priced.

About the information required for your overdue accounts recovery

The service depends on the availability of historic accounting records, relevant correspondence and information about the LLP’s overdue accounting periods. You must provide the required records and outstanding information promptly so that the additional work can be scoped and coordinated.

The supplement does not include bookkeeping reconstruction, tax work, appeals, restoration or audit unless separately assessed and quoted. Companies House penalties and other official or professional charges remain separate. The supplement does not cancel statutory penalties, restore a dissolved LLP or guarantee acceptance of late filings.

The underlying accounts service must be selected separately, as appropriate: Dormant Accounts, Micro/Small Accounts or Active Accounts. If the LLP has been dissolved, a separate LLP restoration service may also be required.

The supplement defines and coordinates additional work alongside the accepted accounts engagement. Companies House controls applicable penalties and filing acceptance; submitting overdue accounts does not itself remove statutory consequences or guarantee acceptance.
