The package provides the following filing work:

1. Review of the requested address or records-location change and the LLP’s instructions.
2. Check of the filing authority, applicable jurisdiction, current and proposed address particulars, and effective date.
3. Identification of the applicable Companies House filing route for one settled address or records event.
4. Preparation of the applicable filing using the information and supporting evidence supplied.
5. Submission of the applicable filing through the appropriate filing route.
6. Provision of a completion record confirming the filing work undertaken and identification of any outstanding information or evidence issues.

About the Single Address Update™ service

Coddan will review the requested change and check the relevant authority, jurisdiction, current and proposed address particulars, and effective date before preparing the applicable filing for one settled address or records event.

The service is intended to help keep the LLP’s Companies House address or records-location information aligned with the change being reported. You remain responsible for confirming that the proposed address is accurate, lawfully usable and appropriate for the LLP’s jurisdiction.

The professional outcome is the preparation and submission of one address or records event through the applicable filing route, together with a completion record. Purchasing this filing service does not include the provision of an address or establish that an address is suitable for the LLP.

When your Single Address Update™ service will be completed

Coddan can proceed with the filing work once the required instructions, current and proposed address particulars, effective date, authority and supporting information have been supplied and are usable for review.

The professional fee is £45 + VAT for one settled address or records event. No separate Companies House filing fee is recorded for the standard filing under the approved schedule. This is a one-off service with no automatic renewal.

Annual address provision, mail handling, records custody, cross-jurisdiction restructuring and additional linked filings are not included in the fixed fee and may require separate services or a separate quotation. Companies House decides whether to accept the filing; the service does not guarantee acceptance.

About the information required for your Single Address Update™ service

The service depends on complete and accurate instructions identifying the LLP, the type of address or records-location event, the existing and proposed particulars, the applicable jurisdiction, the effective date and the authority for the change. You must also confirm that the proposed address is lawfully usable and appropriate for the LLP’s jurisdiction.

The package covers one settled event only. Provision of the address itself, annual address services, mail handling, ongoing records custody, cross-jurisdiction restructuring and additional connected filings are separate.
